Fauna is all the animal life on Earth.
Fauna includes animalia from us (Homo sapiens) to dolphins to snakes… anything that is classified as an animal! It is a classical term back from when biological studies split into two categories: flora and fauna (flora being plant life). Now there are many more categories and things are a lot more complex but this is still a very useful way to categorize life.
